BDPO Backtesting Competition Rules and Regulations

No purchase or payment is required to enter or win. This competition is based on skill alone. No real money will be traded. Open to legal residents of eligible areas who are 18 years or older and of legal age in their jurisdiction. Please do not enter if you are ineligible, located in a restricted area at the time of entry, or if participation would violate local laws or require additional registration, bonding, or localization. Void where prohibited by law.
1. ORGANIZER:BDPO Ltd. (the “Organizer”) is the organizer of the BDPO Backtesting Competition (the “Competition”). 2. AGREEMENT TO RULES:By entering this Competition, you acknowledge and accept these official rules (“Official Rules”) in full. You also agree to comply with all decisions made by the Organizer, including rulings on eligibility, winner selection, and interpretation of these Official Rules. All such decisions are final and legally binding. 3. COMPETITION PERIOD:Each Competition will run for a defined period of time (the “Competition Period”) with an expiry date and time. The Organizer reserves the right to extend or shorten the Competition Period at its sole discretion. All entries must be received by the Organizer before the end of the Competition Period to be eligible to win. 4. ELIGIBILITY:The Competition is open to legal residents of eligible areas who are of legal age in their jurisdiction. Employees of the Organizer, its affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, and suppliers, (collectively the “Employees”), and immediate family members and/or those living in the same household of Employees are not eligible to participate in the Competition. The Competition is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations. Void where prohibited. The Organizer reserves the right to disqualify any Entrant that Organizer determines could potentially reflect negatively on Organizer’s image. 4. PRIVACY: All personal information submitted as part of the Competition will be treated in accordance with the Organizer’s Privacy Policy. By entering the Competition, you agree to the collection, retention, and use of your personal information for the purposes of administering the Competition. 5. HOW TO ENTER:Enter the Competition by following the instructions provided on the Competition page. You must provide the required information to be eligible to win. You may submit as many entries as you wish, however each subsequent entry will overwrite the previous entry. 6. PRIZES:Prizes will be awarded to the top Entrants as determined by the Organizer. The number of prizes and the value of each prize will be determined by the Organizer. Prizes are non-transferable and no substitution will be made except as provided at the Organizer’s sole discretion. The Organizer reserves the right to substitute a prize for one of equal or greater value if the designated prize should become unavailable for any reason. 7. PUBLICITY:By entering the Competition, you grant the Organizer permission to use your name, likeness, image, username, and/or voice, as well as any photos or content submitted as part of the Competition, in connection with the Competition itself and for promotional and advertising purposes across various media, including but not limited to social media platforms. You agree that the Organizer may publish posts featuring your Competition details, including username and photo, to announce winners, showcase entries, or highlight the Competition’s success. You hereby waive any right to inspect or approve the finished product, its advertising copy, or any related materials used in this context, or the specific manner in which it may be applied. 8. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY:By entering the Competition, you agree to release and hold harmless the Organizer and its subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising and promotion agencies, partners, representatives, agents, successors, assigns, employees, officers, and directors from any liability, illness, injury, death, loss, litigation, claim, or damage that may occur, directly or indirectly, whether caused by negligence or not, from: (i) your participation in the Competition and/or your acceptance, possession, use, or misuse of any prize or any portion thereof; (ii) technical failures of any kind, including but not limited to the malfunction of any computer, cable, network, hardware, or software, or other mechanical equipment; (iii) the unavailability or inaccessibility of any transmissions, telephone, or Internet service; (iv) unauthorized human intervention in any part of the entry process or the Competition; (v) electronic or human error in the administration of the Competition or the processing of entries. 9. DISPUTES:This Competition is governed by the laws of the United Kingdom. As a condition of participating in this Competition, you agree that any and all disputes that cannot be resolved between the parties, and causes of action arising out of or connected with this Competition, shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, exclusively before a court located in the United Kingdom having jurisdiction. Further, in any such dispute, under no circumstances shall you be permitted to obtain awards for, and you hereby waive all rights to, punitive, incidental, or consequential damages, including reasonable attorney’s fees, other than your actual out-of-pocket expenses (i.e. costs associated with entering this Competition). You further waive all rights to have damages multiplied or increased.
